Handling Arrears
When a salary revision is backdated, PeopleOS automatically calculates arrears for all affected months. The arrears include:
- Differential earnings (Basic, HRA, allowances)
- Adjusted PF contributions (both employee and employer)
- Recalculated PT if gross slab changed
- TDS recalculation for the full year
Arrears are shown as a separate line item on the payslip for the current month, with a detailed calculation trace.
