Each state has its own Professional Tax slab structure, its own LWF deposit cadence, and its own quirks (Karnataka's February top-up; Maharashtra's 21-day filing window). Their previous HRMS treated PT as a single flat rate and required manual override tickets on every cycle.

The bigger win was the quarterly performance bonus. ScaleUp runs a points-based bonus on top of base salary. PeopleOS's bonus engine accepts per-employee point allocations, computes the variable component, generates the differential TDS impact, and rolls it into a single payroll event with a complete trace.
